This Mind Of Mine Poem by George Salis

This Mind Of Mine

Rating: 5.0

What is this mind of mine?
Like a flickering flame in wind,
fueled by occurrence and whim.
Desperately searching for signs...
of what?

Effortlessly extinguished
through probability and risk.

What is this consciousness?
Like the strings of a puppeteer,
driven by instincts and fear.
Roaming lands of loneliness…
to where?

Perpetually sparked
by science, philosophy, and art:
This is my mind.
