This Pain In My Side
yesterday i felt alright
i could walk,
i could run,
i could see.
yesterday i felt so fine,
i could wipe all the pain in my side.
today when i walk i feel all the pain in my life
the pain in my side like knives cutting through the dry,
the dryness of whats left
the desert of how i feel about today,
and think about yesterday,
and hope for tommorow
