This Planet Is Getting Lost - Poem by Gabriel Couto
We never own victory, truth be told:
We never own anything at all.
We only watch it all as it unfold
While we raise our voices to be heard,
Speaking loudly, listening closely
We're never lovers of the true souls.
Making part of a show, got something inside me
But I never put it through,
It isn't easy to close your eyes
Being blind you dream all day
But being able to see, you'll see
This planet getting lost into the universe
While you're trying to find yourself,
This planet's getting lost
