This Quarantine Poem by RUPALI SAINI

This Quarantine

Rating: 5.0

This quarantine has laid bare,
All our what-ifs.
Man jammed with whims,
Ever envisaged,
A release from run-of-the-mill.

And it manifested...
Now the clock is yours,
No panic for tomorrow's ready exit,
Is this not we aspired day & night?

My clock my time,
It's no more Big Ben now.

Now a big BUT has materialized,
After bursting bulging bubbles of
Airy claims of our latent what-if talent;
The super-human has not emerged
What a Pity!

All the secret drives to probe social media &
seductive web series,
Now satiated, but with zero complacency.

It happens... Good! it has happened.
Finally the gaseous balloon gives way,
And we are introduced to this mirage.

This quarantine is epiphanic.

This honed vision and the puncturing of the hollow truths
has unleashed the harsh true truths.

O it's Scary!

These breakthroughs may take life or
may usher redefining.

This quarantine is an evolution.
