This Room Poem by Izzie

This Room

Rating: 5.0

This room
Is it the familiarity or the loneliness
Is it the darkness that haunts me
Is it the night drizzle that creates a horror
Is it that the white walls have turned black
Is it that I've got fangs in my heart

In this room
You made me love you
You raced my heart
You lifted my soul
You made me dream
You said goodbye.

A heart that truly loves usually bears the scars of broken relationships, death of loved ones etc. yet love remains the greatest among all things. Well done, dear poet.

I don't see any logic tn repeating the text twice over. A reader can visualise the situation where lovers unite to seek pleasure and then part their ways. This results in a heart-break and depression for the lover. One should come to terms with reality as soon as possible. Thanks.
