This Shall Pass Away Poem by Prafulla Kumar Panda

This Shall Pass Away

My hope stands like a beacon light
it will give you the strongest fight
like every minute,
or like every hour, you shall pass
also, like a card house
my pain and anxiety shall crash
as soon the darkest night begets
the brightest sun
the nature 'll heal by her own
again the earth 'll move like the whizzing train
and the ship of life 'll vessel in the distant main
and under the blue sky cool breeze 'll clatter
and the bees buzz and the birds 'll chatter
and this aged spring 'll pave way for the summer

O God! you do heed my humble prayer
like Krishna, Allah, or Jesus
again come down to this sick earth
as you did many ages back
when humbler I grow and humanity I embrace
being a parent,
how can you see your progeny's suffering in evil's hand?
