This Thing Called Love Poem by jasmine ellis

This Thing Called Love

it makes me laugh
thinkin about it
love is a bully that can hit
hard to your heart
it makes you want to be apart
from everybody else to think
but within a blink your confused
you refuse
to let anyone else know
but you dont know which way to go
you want to do it by yourself
not with someone else
you try to figure things out alone
these feelins of your own
this love is a huge change
the way it works is so strange
you wish you could just sit back and watch it all
bouncin around in someone elses head like a ball
its out of control it wont ever go way like a ear hole
you try to think it through
but you dont know wut to do
you wont dare ask for help
its been kept
deep down inside
you try to hide
it from everyone
but its no fun
you spen your time worried
you wish these feelins could die to buried
YOu dont want anyone else to get involved
love is not the effect but the cause of all the hurt and pain each day
i wish love had money so it could pay
for all the drama it caused
all the dropped and broken jaws
love is like a suspect of a crime
standin in a jail line
but it is never caught or blamed
my eyes are filled with flames
it should be caught like a ball in a baseball glove
there is nothin more scarier
than:
this thing called love
