This Way Or That Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

This Way Or That

Beating it up-
Rolling with the role
Moral character as a fall
The religion of love and life
Talk about a wishful singing
Even, when the fire refuses
Ungracefully to die down
Unmoved by the ruckus
Bygones are bygones
All about goes on.

Terrible times-
Passing through
The sleepless nights
Lots of lives lost so for
Lots of fingers pointed out
But, hardly any retaliation-
Righteousness or Justification.
Against undying hardcore spirits
It's time to reinvent lessons of life
The whole universe seems at play
But, what they do or what not
Thereafter, taking the charge
Simply, politicians sit back
Getting in or getting out
Throwing lame excuses
This way or that.
