This Wicked Game We Play Poem by Sofia May

This Wicked Game We Play

Congratulations!
You won!
I'm finally broken.
I'm finally gone.
Congratulations!
You won.
I won't talk.
I won't move.
But do you feel like you won?
Are you really a victor,
In this wicked game we play.
You won I lost! Good job!
But what are the consequences of winning?
The pain you cause the loser.
So do you still feel so high and mighty?
While I feel so low.
So I say...
Congratulations!
You won!
I'm finally broken.
I'm finally gone.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This wicked game we play. We fight then say sorry then fight again. I build myself up just to be brought down again. I am the loser at this game. So I say to my fellow friend. Congrats. You finally broke me.
