This World Should Know

This world’s so plagued with trap and snare
Festooned with tempting jewels
With those who seek the devil’s fair
And end like blinded fools

Its Satan’s will to take us down
To lie to cheat and kill
To steal away life’s precious crown
Against God’s holy will

Though evil lost and walking dead
Amongst the world’s debris
Christ calls us from the devil’s bed
And makes our eyes to see

I heard The Truth the facts were plain
The bible laid it bare
My former life was lived in vain
And Satan didn’t care

But now through Christ, there’s hope to live
Through faith there’s so much more
With peace with joy The Lord will give
The keys to true life’s door

Blessings and glory beyond compare
Love in endless stream
Majestic treasure free to share
Beyond our wildest dreams

Let’s praise The Lord who paid the price
Who died for you and me
Who came His life to sacrifice
To heal and set us free

Let’s tell the world of Jesus’ love
Of Satan’s gross deceit
Of hell of Heaven of life above
And make our joy complete
