Thorns - Poem by kennedy musyoka

You made my life a bed of roses,
all i saw was the petals i never
saw the thorns,
The joy you bought to me,
The precious time and thoughts,
The very time i saw you,
I knew that love was that,
The smile you gave a stranger i
feel in love with that,
The kind of person you have
become is a shadow of what i
loved,
beautiful sight of roses,
scent and all of that,
The thorns you kept hidden to this man that is lost in love,
Your pretty eyes that made me
weak made me think of beautiful kids,
The first one in ma life that made me think my whole life of joy ill have,
If there was a way id erase all that hurt,
The past that made a rose to
wither that made this shadow
cast,
I loved you that day and ill love you till i die,
The pain i might be going through i know i cant regret,
The few times i hold you am sure from heart we were meant,
am might not be romeo for i am full of err,
The thought of one being perfect i dont believe it at all,
You aint perfect but to me you are more than that,
If you make me leave you what do you want our kids to have,
I shed tears in my sleep am a man but that is love,
I cant hide from the truth for i in love am lost...
