Those Days - Poem by Amanda Ford
It’s those days when the tears won’t come,
It’s those days when you have no one.
It’s those days when your heart cries loud,
It’s those days when life’s one big cloud.
With the moisture hidden away,
The tears just about to break,
But not a single door or slit,
Through which an escape to make.
When your up goes down,
And your all turned around,
What is right and what is wrong?
When all your morals are gone.
When the love is gone,
And your heart beats cold,
When it’s all gone wrong,
And you’re left alone,
It’s those days where the pain is clear,
It’s those days when he’s nowhere,
It’s those days when your heart’s ran dry,
Today’s the day I will no longer cry.
