Those Eyes Poem by Blair Flynn

Those Eyes

Is it wrong or a crime,
That I don't think about him every night?
Someone else usually creeps into my brian while I'm in bed
Believe me, I would like to know why my defective mind remembers everything you ever said

Deep eyes still stare into the barren contents of my soul
My heart will forever retain the hole you made in it
I want ot escape my wretched fate
As tears rool down my emotionally drained face

Those eyes haunt me nownow and forever
They will never leave my eyeshot
A dark and deep shadow has been caste over me
And I am the only one that can feel and sees

You were in my life for not that long
But as long as both you and I will walk the earth,
You will never leave my sight
Why do you think this is right?

How did you do this to me?
How can I get my life on track?
I miss my innocence and everything that I used to be
All because those eyes will eternally be a part of me
