Firestarter Poem by Blair Flynn

Firestarter

Rating: 5.0

You know, some people act like a moth attracted to a flame.

Only instead of a flame, the bright light is simply a spark of drama.

Some people can't seem to mind their business, or simple want to see the sparks fly.

They want to burn down the happiness of somebody like an abandoned house of another person.

Well sorry honey, I don't fall for the stupid drama.
If a problem is meant to arise, you better be sure I'm the one who is adding the lit match to gasoline.

So if anything, I don't need you to be the fire starter.
Only someone to call the fire department once a forest fire has been set into motion.
