i sorely miss the vibrant
gleem in your eyes
id write a song about it
and maybe if the melodies just right
it'll find you
and remind you
of what i thought, and
the times we never had

you said goodbye
with the three words
i cant bear to say

when you hear this
will you miss the way
the world was spinning for us
and miss you the way i do...

you left me broken
so when you hear this
its every word left unspoken
i hope you'll think of us

i told myself that id be fine
but thats a lie
i dont want to talk about it
these memories take me back
and cut deep inside like knives

catch me if you can
so this thought
take me back
to the times we never had
