Though You Stumble

Rating: 5.0

Though you stumble, refuse to fall
Beneath a sinful load
Deny not God nor Heavens’ call
Along life’s twisted road

Receive instead the grace of Christ
Accept His perfect love
Believe God’s Lamb was sacrificed
And rise through faith above

Play not a fool nor act the clown
Take heed in truth be wise
Though Satan pulls blind people down
Christ Jesus opens eyes

Look unto Him who bore your pain
To Him who’ll give you life
Accept The Truth be born again
And end the foolish strife

Where doubt remains take up and read
God’s Word He meant for you
Receive it as His precious seed
That grows to life anew

By Heaven’s grace these things I’ve done
So now can testify
Heaven is reached but through God’s Son
The living Christ on high

The same who’s voice I’ve truly heard
Who’s love is now my own
Who’s given me His holy Word
To see my Father’s throne

Of self I’d dare not say these things
If self my soul could save
But through God’s Lamb on eagle wings
I’ll surely flee the grave
