Have you ever made a mistake
Then regret it soulfully
Next time you think
You'll tread more carefully
But it never works out
No matter how hard you try
In the end you give up
Then break down and cry
You think it's all your fault
It probably is
But nothing can fix it
Not even tears
It's in a dark corner
Where you stay
Hiding from everybody
But they won't go away
You just want
Somewhere of your own
Where you can think
And let your thoughts roam
