Thoughts Of Freedom Poem by Anna Schuster

Thoughts Of Freedom

I saw a bird crossing the sky,
flying so fast I could barely follow.

Nature came to my mind,
thoughts of most beautiful places.

and I wondered...If only I...

BUT THEN, SHE DID THE UNTHINKABLE.

If only I was that bird,
I would never have taken my rest
on the ugly huge wires,
crossing the sky,
MADE BY HUMANITY.
