Thoughts of you
Just a few.....
Fleeting enters my mind
Love is indeed blind
I long to reach out to you...
But barriers stop me true...
Barriers of reality
Not that it's a penalty
Our current life commitments
Will need many amendments
That past experiences of me
Remain still lingering you see
Brings in a rush of fears
Fears in you, of my impulsive
Calls, oft I lovingly foolish give....
Will it make your heart race?
Or your life jolt? A pattern I trace,
Oft hesitation I feel...Or
Is it that age is catching up with you?
I oft long to ask you, what your
Thoughts of me ever is?
But reach out to you....
I fail to do......
