Three Of Us Poem by Paul Klobusicky

Three Of Us

Three of Us

We dined on turkey today
Tomorrow’s soup
Just the three of us
Sharing a meal

Cupboards almost bare
Walk through the forest
Collect what we can
Make another meal

Beggars can’t be choosey
Misery loves company
Another meal to be shared
Between three of us

Let’s say grace
Be thankful what we have
Just the three of us
Me, myself and I
