Three Words Poem by Kelsea Osterman

There are three words that can shatter my heart.
There are three words that can make me cry.
There are three little words that can hurt me forever.
But there are three words that can make everything better
Three words that can make me smile.
There will always be one nickname from you that I'll hold forever.
There will always be one love for you.
There will also be three words that I'll say to you.
There will always be your smile to make me smile.
Your laugh will always be the laugh to make me laugh no matter what.
Your lips the only ones I'll want to kiss.
And all this is possible becuase one guy made the mistake
of saying three words and not really meaning them.
When he said those three words he shattered my heart.
Now we say three words that mean so much to us
but so little to so many others.
And so I'll say those three words to you,
and you will know that I really mean them.
'I love you.'
Those are our three words, and you know I'll add three more words to it.
I'll make it even more ours, and even more special.
'I love you forever and always.'
