Throne Of God (A Sonnet) Poem by Barry Blander

Throne Of God (A Sonnet)

The blazing stars benedictory wheel
Girdles Earth in enamored serenade;
Writes Holy secrets no one can unseal
Except by babes for whom Heaven is made.
We long to be fed by the Lord's rich meal;
In the rivers of baptism yearn to wade,
Unburden ourselves of sin. Souls to heal,
For our salvation Lord Jesus has prayed;
Our bulwark against Satan, church bells peal
Of Him Crucified should we be afraid;
Our will to be obedient is steel
And mists of unrighteousness will soon fade.
And though alone, never truly alone
For with Pure Love HE reigns upon His Throne.
