Thumb Song Poem by Okoronkwo Jonathan Jackson

Thumb Song

Pretty weighty thumb
Short and brief your stance
Primed like an acacia bomb
Amidst the irokos' lands-
Yet all hope in you lingers
Master of the gripping power
To rain your supporting shower
Upon the hefty duty fingers
