Tidal Love Poem by douglas lewis

Tidal Love

Rating: 5.0

Each wave unfurled
And sighed a flow
In gentle gasp,
And furled again
In sound and step
In rise to slope the shore.
The eager greens of the
Newborn grass awash
In salted tears.
In understated fanfare
A small hurrah,
A whoosh,
A splash to peter out,
A kiss, a curl,
Another sigh.
