'Til Death Do Us Part Poem by Derrick Andrews

'Til Death Do Us Part

It seems to me,
That even now,
We're going to be,
Alright, somehow,
We're planning times,
We're making goals,
We're on the nines,
Mending our souls,

Always sowing,
Always mending,
Never going,
Never bending,
Always healing,
You're always there,
Never repealing,
Your love filled stare,

I love you so much,
I'll always be here,
Not just for your touch,
For your heart to be near,

And Only when you're near,
Can I tell I'm alive,
'Cause when you're here,
I hear it thrive,

I hear life,
I hear love,
You're my wife,
From above,
You're my soul,
You're my breath,
Make me whole,
Until death...

Do us part...

I disagree strongly with that vow,
For in my passionate, love struck eyes,
If, God forbid, we died, right now,
We would dance together, forever, in lucid blue skies...

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I travelled ti Dulles, to meet my Derrick and he didnt show. Waited in the airport for 2 days, leaving message after message and nothing. I had to get on the greyhound bus to go to friends in Utah, as i was stranded. Had my wallet stolen, so had very little money. But I still believe that Derrick is there waiting for me somewhere. I promised him i would never leave him, and that i would always be there for him. Just wish he would contact me, even if it is to let me knoe he is ok.
