I Love You Grandpa.. R.I.P. Poem by Derrick Andrews

I Love You Grandpa.. R.I.P.

Rating: 5.0

Memories of smiling faces,
Life and death now trading places,
You'll always be here, to me,
Only difference now, is that you're free,
It hurts so much to know you're gone,
But I can't let that get, me down,
I see the path that we walked on,
And your footprints, are still around,
I remember when,
You took me in,
Gave me a home to come to,
And when I cried,
You told me I,
Always had a place to run to,
I know you'll always be here for me, someway, somehow,
And even though you left this earth, I've a guardian angel now,
I want you to know, through the good and the bad,
I was so blessed to have you, Grandad...
