Time Poem by chifuniro mgunda

Time

To my friends and the bonds we made
to the ones we lost along the way
I pray you remember me
my life lived not lost
In my little universe
I have known to love and to hate
Anger and Peace
Life and Death
For time is a precious resource
A coin we spend with each heartbeat
The moments we weave
Choosing how our stories will cleave
In the grand theatre of existence
A delicate choice we must make
Spend it wisely, on what truly astounds
Love, the currency that enriches the soul
Blinding hearts in a harmonious role
Hate, a thief that steals Joy away
A cost too high, in life's fleeting day
Anger, a storm that clouds the skies
Obscuring the beauty in others eyes
Peace, a gentle breeze that calms the sea
Life, a journey, a transient art
Each heart beat a masterpiece
Yet death, a shadow, a destination sure
Reminding us that time is never pure
So in this universe, both little and vast
Choose wisely how your time is cast
