Time Poem by James Grengs

Time

Rating: 3.0

Roaring, speeding, fleeing by
Catch it! Quick! Do try!
Too late, that second now is past,
You see, the present doesn't last;
Spend it, waste it, take all you can,
You see, the clock waits for no man;
Life's a vapor, gone too soon,
Mysterious as an ancient rune;
Be cautious then, friend, with what you do,
Time goes too fast for me and you.
