Time Poem by Meena Iyer

Time

Corridors of nothingness
beckons
An obdurate thought

Like a volcano
From the very core
Rises lustily,
An irate rebellion

Interminable footprints of time
Witness mute
Marks the passage of regime

Time,
Reigns supreme
