Time Poem by Margaret Everard

Time

Time does not bring relief, you all have lied
It rambles on, bringing tears to be cried
Tears of ice, tears of flame, tears stay and flow
Tears of joy tears of pain, tears come and go
Small brooks dwindle and fade with the seasons

seemingly fading without a reason
But following the melting winter snow
Rapids come, not following the moon's tow.
Time has no relief; that saying's a lie
We'll always have tears to shed and cry.
