Time Flies Poem by sara musa

Time Flies

In a decades time I'm going to be twenty seven
Feels like a century away
But only a decade ago I was seven
And that feels like yesterday

Time flies
Work hard for tomorrow they say
But before you know it 'tomorrow's' fly
And all you are left with is yesterday
And I listen to the sound that whispers 'Hold on for dear life'
Oh what grief it will bring me not to live for today
