Time goes by slowly, but surely
My love for you will stay
Times have changed and so have I

The old me died for some reason
The first time you bought me a drink
Coke at Roses

I said to myself it only to get a piece
But my heart said no he cares
My mind said forget you
But only my heart says don't

He'll come back it says
To my heart it won't
to my mind you will

The things you want me to give up
I've been trying to stop
The past doesn't help matters
