Time Goes On Poem by Mary Yang

Time Goes On

How it disappears,
It's completely gone.
It has been half a year,
Half of that was wrong.

It felt like a long time,
To be talking for awhile.
Outside beyond our minds,
It's long between the miles.

LDR, that's what it's called,
What this was, it's partially true.
In everything, you give your all,
Loyalty and other things too.

Now it's not the same,
It won't ever be in life.
No one is to blame,
But pride, emotions, and strife.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
After a period of time of being in love, I thought he was the one, but he wasn't. I gave him all my effort and those days I feel like I was going to die, but I kept on going just for him. This was our long distance relationship (LDR) . In the end, he never had love with our relationship because he never loved me.. he lied while I was truthfully talking to him. He was having fun when I was worrying to death. He 'sleeping' while I was up waiting for the next day to talk.
