Time Past/Present/Future Poem by dakota lee

Time Past/Present/Future

in the past
my life was hard
with brusies and pain
that layed like a blanket
over my heart
the tears i cried everynight
untill i saw you
we fell in love
the present
we hold hands
and we walk together
you hold me close
and tell me three words
i love you
but then you tell me you cant
that you dont know what you want
that im not the one
that i cant be
then i cry i cant
help myself
but i cry this angers you
you toss me to the ground
and leave me there
the future
my heart was crushed
it was torn apart
like a peice of paper
containg rip this up after reading
i knew i could not bare it
so with you name carved
on my chest over my heart
i silently and gracefully
fell from a small pedistal that was
3 feet high
with a rope that was one and a half foot long
and your face was the last thing
i saw before white
i love you, forgive me, rember me
you say as you to
try to die but i
do not let you
i cannot
let you
i love you
and i will protect you untill
he calls for you
when it is your time
so for now
i say goodnight
i will see you
next year
