My eyes are open wide
Thoughts are secure but scattered
My regrets are limited
Fears, evicted and frozen in time
I feel like a living dead
Pain, humiliation, sorrow and loneliness
Friends, passion, comfort and joy
All these I still have
But none worthy enough
To bring a smile across my face

When you are away from the one you love so much
Distance becomes pain and waiting becomes arduous
Time not only heals but also kills
