Timeless Circle Poem by Utpal Thaker

Timeless Circle

Rating: 5.0

their slow steps
worried him
the distance home

picked crabapples in her one hand
& another holding that of his mother's
they strolled circle a meadow trail

drifting cotton clouds
& underneath an eyes-shut cowherd
of benign majesty
ruminating flowers yellow purple

them the ladies
glowing smiles swaying hair
chatty mouths
walked a rhythm hypnotic

timeless circle
he thought
a great destination
rain or shine
