Times Stain Poem by Jorge Vespucci

Times Stain

Thy spout of youth
Oh I wish I had
A weary soul oh to thine my life
Cleanse my body of thy stains of time
So youthful glee could rise once more
Yet I await for morrow
So the clock could do its labor
Morrow, found it through transverse
Of youth yet my spout begone beneath
Thy wretch of time 'Oh, have thee taketh
What belonged to me? A youngster set upon prancing feet?
Now a wrinkly sight awaiting deaths terminal of defeat,
But so please my mistress gloom, set unto me a rose buds
Bloom'.
