Tintagel Castle Poem by Mark. A Heathcote

Tintagel Castle

Tintagel Castle

where King Arthur once ruled

was in the Dark Ages

I know we were enslaved

to the light and to the dark

*

Merlin's cave—it still

listens to King Arthur's heart

each returning wave

*

here dramatic cliffs

where legends fought in folklore

and Gallos stands 8 ft tall

tempest blow — blow

I'll slay all your dragons

with King Arthur's sword

*

tempest blow — blow

I'll slay all your dragons

with King Arthur's sword
