Tired Lazy Saturday - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Still struck by epic tiredness on a lazy
Saturday afternoon and the dream way to spend it
would just be laying in bed with you
cuddling listening to music, watching movies,
and ordering some food to just spend the
whole day with each other talking and being
right there with one another.
The perfect tired lazy Saturday in my mind
with just you and me.
A tired and lazy Saturday afternoon as this one
I wish I could spend with you in bed
wrapped up in each others arms looking into
each others eyes passing the day away.
Smiling talking just feeling the love surrounding us
as we rest away the lazy tired day without a
single stress to worry about just enjoying
our special bond.
This would be the perfect tired lazy Saturday
to just lay here in your arms.
Continue to catch up on all that sleep while
holding you in perfect peace and comfort deeply felt,
the greatest dreams I have are with you that way spent.
I love the peace you bring and all the love you share with me,
I just plain and simply love you my one and only
Angel of deep beauty.
I look forward to all our future lazy tired weekends together
where we'll just spend them all in each others arms
forgetting all the troubles in the world around us.
