'Tis You Poem by Keri Jopplin

'Tis You

The stars are out and the romantic night calls;
Pass into the daylight and my heart, it falls.
Rainbows and fairy rings, a ride on a moonbeam,
As this world disappears into a dream.
Listen to my heart for the beat is true;
Our embraces so close, air can't pass thru.
Anticipating the touch and the desire to fulfill;
Something so wild, tamed only at will.
Our breaths are deep and our pulse is fast,
The heartbeats are electric and the current runs vast.
Looking at the stars and listening to the gypsy;
The truth is there and will set you free.
The beating of our hearts, it fevers the thrill;
Waiting for the passion to make it's kill,
Just one chance, to catch the explosion;
In a whisper of thoughts that's clouded with emotion.
Remembering your touch and the passion of fire,
Flaming romance is what we desire!
