Title: No More Silence Poem by ashok jadhav

Title: No More Silence

(The speaker stands, voice trembling at first, then rising with defiance. Their gaze sweeps as if seeing both oppressors and the silent masses.)
Monologue:
I have watched them…
I have watched them take everything.
Our homes. Our voices. Our dignity.
And I… I stood silent.
I nodded. I pretended it did not matter.
I thought survival meant silence.
I thought fear could protect me.
But no more.
No more will I pretend that injustice is invisible.
No more will I swallow my words, my anger, my truth.
They call us weak for speaking. They call us foolish for resisting.
But what is weak… is bowing. What is foolish… is surrender.
And I… I will not bow. I will not surrender.
I see the fear in their eyes. I see the cracks in their armor.
And I know… I know that even one voice, one cry of defiance,
can spark a fire they cannot control.
I am not alone. I am never alone.
And if speaking out costs me everything… let it.
I would rather fall standing than live kneeling.
So hear me, whoever you are, whoever you hide behind:
I will not be silent.
I will not be invisible.
I will speak.
And if I must bleed, I will bleed for truth,
for justice, for freedom…
because tyranny thrives only in silence,
and I… I refuse to be silent.
(The speaker stands firm, chest heaving, eyes blazing with determination, ready to confront the oppressor no matter the cost.)
