To A Darling - Poem by Sofia Papadimitri

Take this journey
with me
cross the line
of eternity

You wanted to see the dark
This is what it looks like!

There will be
no questions
no deaths
but only resurrections

One moment
can justify it all
an instant of suspension
before the fall

Pity for the simple minds
who will not know pleasure
Compassion for the weak hearts
who cannot endure pain…

So come in the dark
For you carry the light!

Unleash your touch
give your breath
Feel the warm skin
of your prey…

For you have never had
if you never lost
and if this is lost…
Oh, once you had it!

Many condemned
the falling
but every fall leads
to a darling…
