To Be All Forgotten Poem by Makayla Paine

To Be All Forgotten

Rating: 5.0

How can you know me,
When I don't even have the key,
To my heart, soul, dreams and feelings,
I watch outside the window I'm kneeling from,
With the candles lit and the letters around,
I feel as if I have drowned from the sadness I'm feeling,
I look back up at the ceiling again and think back,
When you all said 'your not wanted, your not needed' all your lack of help,
You made me cry many nights and days,
From many ways,
With your harsh words, tripping over, and loss of friendship,
You broke my little heart when you said it, just like a switch, I turned the feelings off,
I heard the silent cries, sniffles, and coughs through the night,
And that's when I knew I had to fight,
Fight for feelings, for love, for you,
But once again you blew me off,
So I'm over with this fight,
I give up I no longer need the night to hide,
I picked up those last un-forgiving letters and watched them burn,
Now it's your turn,
To pay for what you did to me,
Those gutsy lies,
Unforgiving truths,
But seeing as we are the youth of this world,
You can grant me this last wish,
for it all to be forgotten.
