To Be Bird - Poem by Marota Aphane

So you thought
It will be easy
To have wings
& fly all your ways
Without a little
Fall on a thorny tree lesson?

So you thought
It will be easy
To master flying
Without flipping wings
& dark the rain
Of mask-man’s pellets
& never be grounded?

So you thought
It will be easy
To return to the nest
Without a gale
To cut through?

So you thought
It will be easy
To be bird
Little bird?

Yaaa! It's not that easy. A poem I guess everyone could relate to. Naked truth. (Report)Reply
