A thousand lullabies on a sleepless night,
A million butterflies in synchronised flight.
A piece of my heart forever more,
A promise to be eternally yours.
I would give all, to be by you,
And see your smile, the things you do,
That make my deepest spirits soar,
And knock my soul down to the floor.
I feel alive when you’re around,
I feel young, no longer bound
By shackles placed by shyness vulgar,
That threatens love, to tear asunder.
And all of this I loathe confide
Aloud to you, stays locked inside
This heavy mind, raw feelings scared,
Each to die remained unshared.
