To Be Remembered Poem by Corinne LaMoreHarber

To Be Remembered

Rating: 5.0

Remember,
This is not real.
So feel free
To dismember me,
Limb from limb.
Destroy and scatter,
Scatter and Destroy.
Boy,
You won’t believe
How much I can bleed.
You’ll have to travel
To ends of the earth
To the deepest sea
To scatter
To hide
the fragments of me
Because I am so much stronger
then I seem
My Isis will come,
She will Set my broken bones
And I will be
Remembered.
