To Discover Her Poem by Wayne Falconer

To Discover Her

Midnight cellphone.
Exposed hearts upon loan.
Breathe in or out the beat.
How did we chance meet?

Midsummer singing moon.
Hearts spin beneath loom.
How did we uncover other?
Spin wheel to become lover.

Whose found inner wealth.
Lost or claimed new self.
Found the yellow brick path.
To warmth or fire halve.

Were her and I dreaming.
hope to find true meaning.
Walking this native broad walk.
Where lovers walk and talk.

Stroll the mystic seashore.
Where summer lovers score.
Hear ocean wave pounding song.
Rolling all hours and day long.

Her and I bound together.
Despite new century rocky weather.
While we turn the magic key.
Discover her and me.

As so painting goes so.
In art of discovery glow.
Play where rocking cats meet.
Here beat upon love street.
