To Do Poem by Clarisse Sobiono

To Do

Stretching, yawning then up you go
You heard your clock strikes six
Go for a quality run
Raise your heartbeat

Hit the kitchen
While still sweating
Go make a toast
Wheat bread with tuna spreading

Wait for the oven
As you unclothed yourself
Just one more look in the mirror
One more gaze of what you worked for

Are you happy? Do you look strong?
Oh yes? Maybe put the towel on
Now go eat the now heated bread
Can't go beyond schedule for sure

Two glasses of purified water
Through some thoughts of emptiness
For some reason you have not yet filled
As the hot shower is waiting

You let the running water pour
Through some thoughts of emptiness
For some reason you have not yet filled
As your schedule is waiting...
