To Fly Or Not To Fly Poem by Heath Gunn

To Fly Or Not To Fly

Through the clouds above the rain,
i would soar so high.
If only i could concentrate my mind,
and will myself to fly.

The sights that would befall me,
the visions from on high.
All manner of race and cultures seen,
as i flew right on by.

But what great wonder i would miss,
flying high above.
That i may wish to walk a while,
and talk of life and love.

So perhaps the gift to fly on high,
is one on which I'll pass.
And maybe I'll immerse myself,
in the world and wonders massed.
