To Forget Poem by Lilly James

To Forget

To forget would be the worst thing of all
To forget would be like I never had you at all
To forget the cold nights cuddled by the fire
To forget your warm hands on my cheek as you kiss me goodnight
To forget the cool falls splashing in the leaves
To forget the hot summers laughing on the beach
To forget the bitter ending where you die
To forget the blood on the floor
To forget you were unhappy most of the time
To forget I no longer was enough to make you smile
To forget would be the worst thing of all
To forget would be like I never hade you at all
